Thursday’s Child: Key Largo, Florida

Every winter it happens. The day arrives when I’m tired of the cold, and I just want to remember being warm. When I’m tired of the snow, and I want to remember leaving my house without swaddling myself in layers.

Today is that day. Not a lot of words, just a few photos from a recent trip to Key Largo.

Beautiful sunrises:

And gorgeous sunsets:

Family time spent kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, reading and relaxing:

Paradise!

I need to remember the warmth also…though it's so hard when it's so cold!

We've hit a low point for the winter with this latest arctic blast. Even though it's "chilly" in FL at the moment, anything about freezing would feel tropical! What a beautiful locale.

Those pictures are gorgeous! I feel better just looking at them. I get tired of winter on the very first day. It's not my thing.

What a wonderful time, Beth! My daughter lives in Tampa: When I said I wanted to visit this month, she said she wanted to come home! Lousy timing, honey!

Beautiful photographs and lovely ladies. Yes, we all need a place to go when we have had enough of the snow and ice, if only in our dreams.

SO jealous! That trip looks wonderful. You all look so happy and all the photos are wonderful! It's still cold here – having an ice storm tonight – such fun!
